About The Author

Edward Pollock is a first year BA (Hons) Events Management student, studying at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, U.K. At the age of fourteen, Pollock began work helping those without access to clean water and sanitation. While attending high school in Dubai, he founded his own charitable organization, The Aqua Initiative, which works to raise awareness and funds for those without access to clean water.

Through organizing events and other activities, Pollock has been able to raise funds to be able to help thousands of individuals worldwide, building hand pumps in Kenya and Afghanistan and conducting other projects in countries like India, Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Sudan. The Aqua Initiative shall strive towards being a modern, socially connected charity, which shall rely on the use of social media.
